Why we started BalmMe
A tragic illness in our extended family opened our eyes to the importance of living clean and naturally. For Mum, this was a deeply personal moment — watching someone she loved battle a debilitating illness made her realise how crucial it is to be mindful of what we put on our bodies. This heart-wrenching experience became a turning point for Mum and Dad, who understood that true healing comes from nature, not chemicals.
Determined to create something better, they began growing their own lavender on a large farm in Wollombi, where the beauty and tranquillity of the land inspired their journey. The farm became more than just a place to grow — it became the foundation of their brand. From this rich, natural source, they crafted pure, effective products made only from nature's finest ingredients. No petroleum-based ingredients. No synthetic additives. No compromises. Just clean, green goodness, grown and harvested with care.
What began as a family's quest for healthier living soon blossomed into a brand that's been a beloved family favourite for decades. The lavender they grew became the heart of the products, offering both the calming essence of nature and the therapeutic properties that helped heal the body and soul.
